About Us
Champlain Valley Alpacas is a family owned and operated farm which resides in the quiet Green Mountains of Vermont. We, Les and Jenny, and our two children, Grace and Olivia, have run this beautiful 80-acre ranch since 1998. Here, we raise alpacas, gentle and curious creatures, mostly known for their soft hair and long necks.
In addition to the alpacas, we raise and sell natural grass-fed beef. In order to continually evolve, we became one of the first farms to also sell alpaca meat, a low calorie/high protein option. Over the years, our farm has grown to include an alpaca products/fiber store complete with organic grape juice made from our very own vineyard. We also offer quiet retreats at our farm stay through Airbnb, VRBO, HipCamp, and HarvestHosts. |
In 2011, we began the Vermont Wedding Barn, a venue seating up to 300 people. Being family owned, we care about creating a welcoming and warm environment for families, and we continue offering personalized, memorable experiences. Here, we host weddings, proms, quinceaneras, birthday parties, anniversaries, graduation parties, fundraising events, and whatever other event our guests have in mind.
Twenty years after our founding, our two daughters, grown and moved away, join us whenever they can. Today, we continue the family traditions with Les' brother Bill.
Let us know what we can do to serve you, and thank you for visiting our site. We look forward to hearing from you! -Les and Jenny
